For the first time in the publication’s 10-year history the cover features a nonhuman model: a smiling border collie named Ten.As the video shows, photographer Aaron Goodman in his studio in February under the watchful eyes of his trainer as well as ’s new managing editor Claudia Wallis and art director Patti Nemoto—both dog owners. “What a delightful way for me to kick off my very first week at ,” says Wallis, who had previously served as magazine’s science editor.
